Marketing needs doing every week. Agencies are built for campaigns.
Most Australian businesses have a marketing problem that is really a capacity problem. There is always more content to produce than people to produce it: social posts, email campaigns, landing pages, video edits, ad creative, the endless resizing of everything for every channel. An agency does this beautifully for a launch and expensively for a year. A single local marketing coordinator does it exhaustingly and never gets to the strategic work they were hired for.
Agencies feel the same squeeze from the other side. Client demand for production volume keeps rising, but every local designer or editor costs more than the retainer supports, so senior creatives end up doing production work that should sit below them.
Offshore creative support fits this well because production work is entirely digital, the tools are universal, and the Philippines has a large and genuinely skilled creative workforce that has spent years producing for Australian, American and British brands.
Creative and digital roles we place.
Why this works in creative and digital specifically.
Production is digital and the tools are universal
Volume is the problem, and volume is what a dedicated person solves
The Filipino creative workforce is genuinely good
Brand consistency compounds with tenure

What this usually looks like in practice.
A business typically starts with one graphic designer or one social media manager, added to support an existing marketing lead rather than replacing anyone. That person works your business hours from our Manila delivery centre, in your Adobe or Figma environment, your brand libraries and your scheduling tools, on accounts you create and control.
The first month is spent absorbing your brand, your tone and your approval flow, and it needs real input from whoever owns the brand. After that, production simply flows. Your marketing lead briefs in the morning and reviews in the afternoon, and stops doing the resizing and the scheduling themselves. Businesses that go well often add a video editor or a digital coordinator within the year, because once the production bottleneck clears they discover how much they had been unable to attempt.
Agencies typically place a production designer or editor under a creative director and scale as retainer volume proves out.

Will an offshore designer understand the Australian market and our audience?
For production work, brand consistency and execution, yes, and quickly. Filipino creatives have typically spent years producing for Australian and other Western brands and are fluent in the visual language. Where it is honest to draw a line is on strategy and cultural nuance: brand strategy, creative direction and campaign concepts that depend on deep local cultural knowledge work best when they stay with your local lead, with the offshore team executing. Most businesses find that split is exactly what they wanted anyway.
How do we handle brand guidelines and quality control?
The same way you would with a new local hire. Proper brand guidelines, a shared asset library and a clear approval flow in the first month. Your marketing lead reviews work before it publishes, at least initially. Good offshore creatives calibrate fast to feedback, and the review burden drops sharply after the first few weeks.
Which tools do they work in?
The full Adobe Creative Cloud suite, Figma, Canva, Premiere, After Effects and DaVinci Resolve for creative production. HubSpot, Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Meta Business Suite, Google Ads and the standard scheduling tools for digital marketing. If you use something less common, tell us at the brief stage.
How do licensing and software access work?
Through your own subscriptions, with seats you assign and control. Your brand assets, fonts and files stay in your environment. Your team member works on company provided equipment from our Manila delivery centre, under employment terms that include confidentiality obligations.
Can they manage our social accounts and respond to customers?
Yes, with the boundaries you set. Community management, scheduling and routine responses work well offshore, particularly as your team member works your business hours so responses are timely. Anything sensitive, a complaint, a PR issue, a legal question, escalates to you according to rules you define in the first fortnight.
Is this suitable for an agency rather than a brand?
Very much so. Agencies typically place production designers, editors and digital coordinators under a local creative director, which lets senior people do senior work and lets the agency take on more retainer volume without the first year loss on a local junior. The honest limit is that client facing strategy and pitching stay with your local team.
